Madagascar is a huge island with extremely varied habitats.
The far north and eastern areas of the country are home to large tracts of rainforest. The southern and western areas of the country are fundamentally much drier, offering a totally different experience. It is partly this diversity of habitat that makes Madagascar so interesting to explore.
