Most safari camps can provide a private vehicle where needed (at extra cost) and guides who appreciate the requirements of photographers. More specialist camps and lodges are able to offer specially designed photographic safari vehicles, specialist professional photographers for tuition and guiding, and equipment rental. One or two even include good quality camera gear for each participant as part of their safari.
We also work with companies that can provide ‘doors off’ helicopter charters or specially designed ‘photo-boats’.

There are also quite a few camps and lodges which have specialist hides overlooking waterholes or more specific attractions such as Carmine bee-eater nests, elephant drinking spots or hippo pools.
Good examples of this are:
- Mashatu Tent Camp in the Tuli region of south-east Botswana;
- Kaingo Camp, Mwamba Bushcamp and Tafika Camp in Zambia’s South Luangwa.
There are many other properties across safari Africa that have on site underground hides, or access to hides in the bush.
