ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1-3: Kicheche Laikipia – 3 nights
From Nairobi, take a scheduled light aircraft flight north to the exclusive Ol Pejeta Conservancy in central Kenya, near Mount Kenya. Arrive in time to settle in and enjoy lunch overlooking the waterhole. Your time in Ol Pejeta is primarily spent on morning and afternoon game drives to view the exceptional big game of Ol Pejeta, and afternoon drives can be extended to include night drives, using a spotlight to seek out nocturnal species. There are also options for walking safaris, some local conservation-based activities and day trips to explore further afield. Kicheche Laikipia has a lovely setting overlooking a waterhole which animals and birds often frequent especially during the dry season.

Day 4-6: Kicheche Mara Camp – 3 nights
After an early morning game drive you will connect with a scheduled light aircraft flight south-west over the Great Rift Valley to reach the open plains of the Masai Mara. Upon landing within the exclusive Mara North Conservancy, you will be met by your guide from Kicheche Mara Camp and transferred, game viewing en route, to arrive in camp in time for lunch. Your days at Kicheche Mara Camp will be spent exploring the Mara North Conservancy, enjoying its superb game viewing opportunities. Being in a private conservancy, the experience is much more exclusive than being in the Masai Mara National Reserve. In addition to game drives, you can also enjoy guided bush walks and visit a traditional village.

Day 7-10: Kicheche Valley Camp – 3 nights
Your morning is at leisure to enjoy a game drive across the plains eastward to the exclusive Naboisho Conservancy where you will arrive at Kicheche Valley Camp in time for lunch. Your days at Kicheche Valley Camp will give you the opportunity to explore the Naboisho Conservancy which offers a lovely contrast to the Mara North Conservancy in terms of landscape and habitat. As with any Kicheche camp, your key focus will be on the big game experiences and good quality guiding. In addition to game drives, you can also enjoy guided bush walks, night drives and visit a traditional village.

Day 11: End of Arrangements
After your final morning of game viewing you will connect with a scheduled light aircraft flight back to Nairobi.
