ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1-3: Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages – 3 nights
From Nairobi, fly north by scheduled light aircraft to the exclusive Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the centre of the country, near Mount Kenya. Arrive in time to settle in and enjoy lunch on your private veranda overlooking the bush. Your time at Ol Pejeta will be primarily spent seeking out Africa’s incredible wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives, though there are also options for walking safaris, night drives, overnight fly-camping and regional day trips to explore further afield. Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages comes with your own private vehicle and knowledgeable guide giving you an exclusive and flexible introduction to Kenya’s big game.

Day 4-7: Offbeat Mara Camp – 4 nights
After an early morning game drive to the local airstrip a scheduled light aircraft will transfer you south-west over the Great Rift Valley to reach the open plains of the Masai Mara. You’ll land within the exclusive Mara North Conservancy, where you will be met by your guide from Offbeat Mara Camp and transferred across the plains, game viewing enroute, to arrive in camp in time for lunch. From Offbeat Mara Camp you’ll explore the incredible savanna plains of the Mara North Conservancy, where the game viewing is simply amazing and, being a private conservancy, much more exclusive than the Masai Mara National Reserve. In addition to game drives, you can also enjoy guided bush walks and visit a traditional village.

Day 8: End of Arrangements
After your final morning of game viewing you will connect with a scheduled light aircraft flight back to Nairobi.

VARIATIONS AND EXTENSIONS
It is easy to add a third safari destination to this itinerary, or to broaden your Kenya experience by including some cultural or walking experiences. It is also easy to include a few days on the beach at the end, either on the Kenya coast or further afield in Zanzibar, Mauritius or Seychelles. WHEN TO TRAVEL
This itinerary is available year-round, though game viewing is likely to be best from June to October and from December through to March.
