ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1-3: Lewa Wilderness – 3 nights
From Nairobi, take a scheduled light aircraft flight north to the exclusive Lewa Conservancy in central Kenya, sandwiched between the extensive Laikipia Plateau, Samburu National Park and Mount Kenya. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Lewa Wilderness, arriving in time to settle in and enjoy lunch. Your time on Lewa will focus on morning and afternoon game drives to view the exceptional big game of Lewa, and afternoon drives can be extended to include night drives, using a spotlight to seek out nocturnal species. There are also options for walking safaris, camel safaris, horse-riding, playing tennis, visits to the conservancy headquarters and day trips to explore further afield. Lewa Wilderness is a long-established property and has a sophisticated yet friendly safari atmosphere.

Day 4-6: Naboisho Camp – 3 nights
After an early morning game drive you will connect with a scheduled light aircraft flight south-west over the Great Rift Valley to reach the open plains of the Masai Mara. You’ll land within the exclusive Naboisho Conservancy, where you will be met by your guide from Naboisho Camp and transferred, game viewing en route, to arrive in camp in time for lunch. Your days will be spent exploring the Naboisho Conservancy, enjoying its excellent game viewing opportunities. Being a private conservancy, the experience is much more exclusive than being in the Masai Mara National Reserve. In addition to game drives, you can also enjoy guided bush walks, night drives and visit a traditional village.

Day 7-10: Baraza Resort & Spa – 4 nights
After your final morning game drive, you will connect with a scheduled light aircraft flight back to Nairobi, before connecting with an early afternoon scheduled light aircraft flight south-east to Zanzibar, Tanzania. On arrival you will need to clear customs before being transferred east across the island to arrive at Baraza Resort & Spa in time for a cold drink overlooking the Indian Ocean. Your time on Zanzibar can be as lazy or active as you prefer. Baraza is located on a beautiful sandy beach and has plenty of good areas to relax, and a large pool with views out over the ocean. Activities on offer include dhow trips, reef walks, snorkelling, scuba diving, kite-surfing and sightseeing tours. Baraza is a sophisticated, luxury resort with a good health spa and spacious villa accommodation where you can relax in privacy if you choose.

Day 11: End of Arrangements
Check out of the hotel will be late morning after which you will be transferred back to Zanzibar Airport in order to connect with your onward flight home.
