Wilderness Safaris run a number of superb luxury lodges, including Mombo and Little Mombo which are also known for their spectacular game viewing, while Great Plains Conservation operates the highly exclusive Duba Plains and Sitatunga Private Island. Another absolute top end property is Xigera Safari Lodge, run by hotel group Red Carnation, whilst several other properties offer high end facilities but perhaps not always the service to match. A small step down from their top properties, Wilderness Safaris also have Vumbura Plains which offers a superb all round Okavango Delta experience, with incredible big game in combination with water-based experiences.

In other parts of Botswana, Jack’s Camp is the top ‘Kalahari Desert’ experience, being located on the edge of the amazing Makgadikgadi Pans, while in the Greater Linyanti wilderness area, there are a number of top camps offering superb big game experience.
