Hi Rob, we’re now back home, slowly recovering from the long journey. The camps, guides, staff were all terrific, and we saw amazing wildlife. The two mornings at the hide in Mashatu were a lifetime experience – thank you so much for arranging that! You once again created a fabulous itinerary: each camp was different, both in style and environment, and it was great to experience them all. We really appreciate all the work you and your staff did in putting the itinerary together and for your help in navigating the bumps we encountered on the ground. You guys are the best!

Hi Rob, safely back in town. Overall assessment of the trip was brilliant. All objectives achieved. So, well done to you! The helicopter flip was amazing. Exceeded my expectations. A definite must. The hospitality at Kings Pool was next level. Not one, but two surprise meals for Maya and I, in only two days. One lunch in the hide overlooking the water, which was magical, and a dinner at the pool area in the evening. Absolutely fantastic. All the staff were top drawer. Food was great as well. Chitabe was not at the same level, which I was prepared for. But we had great sightings, including 2 good wild dog sightings. Game viewing was very good. Guides at both camps were excellent, with Eebs at Chitable being a cut above. He has been there for 25 years, and is a consummate professional.

Dear Frances, it was a fantastic vacation and we enjoyed every moment. We were both very grateful to you for organising this trip for us. We want to visit Namibia and South Africa next and will get in touch when we are ready. Everything went smoothly and flowed like water. We were never worried or stressed. We lived one day at a time and never worried about the next day or the transfers. People were always on time, they were kind, and they took excellent care of us. Every single meal was perfect. Everything was perfect. We saw a lot, did a lot and also got a much-needed break from Gabon and the madness here. We LOVED Botswana and hope to go back someday. We saw places and had experiences that people dream of, and I can’t believe we get to be so lucky. Thank you from our hearts!

Hi Kelly, we had a really wonderful trip! We were lucky enough to have Pom Pom to ourselves for the first 3 days, only had one super rainy day, and saw lots of amazing game. We would recommend the green season to friends and family , as we really enjoyed seeing everything so lush – even if it meant we had to hunt out the animals a bit harder! Our most unusual sighting was probably a “fight” between two male leopards that we stumbled upon, and suddenly a pack of 6 wild dogs arrived and started bullying the leopards who shot up two trees. Was a truly amazing sighting!

Hi Rob, we cannot thank you enough for planning the perfect first African safari for our family! We had an INCREDIBLE time….and we will definitely be returning. Everywhere we stayed was absolutely incredible, but I think Savanna Lodge and Beagle were our favorites. We loved getting to know the staff at each of those places (especially at Beagle), and everyone could not have been more kind and hospitable.

Clive was so wonderful – our guide in Vic Falls. He was so kind to us during our 2 days there. And everyone at Beagle was just amazing. We all woke up to hyenas killing a zebra on the 3rd night we were there, and none of us could stop talking about it around the fire the next morning. What an adventure!

Take the impala. They are one of Africa's most common antelope, due to their incredible adaptability. They are both grazers and browsers, switching between grasses and leaves depending on the season, helping them to thrive in a wide range of habitats. Their ability to leap 10 metres in length and nearly 3 metres in height is another factor of their success, helping them to escape predators!
