Desroches island

Desroches is an outer coral island located 145 miles south-west of the main islands.

Desroches is the largest of the Seychelles coraline islands and is only accessible by light aircraft. The island is four miles long and one mile wide and is surrounded by extensive white sands beaches. There is a village and small local population living on the island which adds to the experience.

There is a single upmarket hotel on the island. Facilities at the resort include a central swimming pool, bar and lounge areas, gym and Health Spa. Activities include bicycling, tennis, windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, fly-fishing, sea kayaking, Island conservation explorations and sunset boat cruises.
