Focus on Botswana

Director - Michele was born and grew up in Harare, Zimbabwe and moved to the UK aged 18 to start a new life after the country went rapidly ‘down hill’. Michele joined Safari Consultants in 2002 as a personal assistant and having quickly gained an intimate understanding of the business, she needed a different challenge and joined the Sales team. Michele is incredibly passionate about Africa having travelled extensively for over 20 years through Southern and Eastern Africa. Her favourite regions are the South Luangwa in Zambia, and the Selous and Ruaha in southern Tanzania, though Zimbabwe naturally has a special place in her heart. Gorilla tracking in Uganda also remains a personal highlight as this was the first place she experienced the great apes. Michele is involved in all aspects of the business and is meticulous in her organisation, always willing to go that ‘extra mile’. When not in the office or Africa, you will find her on the golf course!
