African Parks to run Malawi’s Liwonde and Nkhotakota parks

Wonderful news received today that the African Parks Foundation has concluded a public/private partnership with the Malawi Government and their National Parks to manage Liwonde NP and Nkhotakota WR for the next 20 years. Click here for more info.

African Parks have done a superb job in developing Majete Wildlife Reserve, also in Malawi, as well as numerous other key wildlife areas over the continent including the Liuwa Plains and Bangweulu Wetlands (both in Zambia), Akagera (Rwanda), Chinko (C.A.R.),  Garamba (D.R.C.), Odzalo (Congo), Zakouma (Chad). Akagera recently saw lion introduced.
