Itineraries & Prices for Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe spent over 10 years in the tourism ‘wilderness’, having political and economic issues that very much damaged and curtailed their safari tourism industry. Since around 2013 good quality safari tourism has re-established itself, but the cost of a Zimbabwe safari is still comparatively lower than their neighbours Zambia and Botswana. How long this will last we are not sure, as prices are gradually re-aligning themselves, but for the time-being Zimbabwe remains very good value when you consider the quality of guiding available and the authenticity of the safari experience.

In particular, the Upper Zambezi, Victoria Falls and Hwange regions in the north-west can offer some exceptional value options where big-game viewing and river safaris can be easily combined with general sight-seeing and relaxation around Victoria Falls.

This said, prices for a 10 to 14 day holiday to Zimbabwe, excluding international flights, are likely to sit between US$7500.00 / £6000.00 and US$15,000 / £12,000.00 per person sharing.
