This itinerary combines two of Botswana’s most sophisticated and exclusive safari lodges, providing a wonderfully high quality safari experience in the heart of the Botswana wilderness. The Selinda Reserve in the Linyanti Region, and the Duba Concession in the Okavango Delta, are two magical safari areas, both very productive for big game and very exclusive. ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1-4: Selinda Camp – 4 nights
From Maun you connect with a shared light aircraft transfer north-east over the eastern Okavango Delta to reach the wild and remote Selinda Reserve in the Linyanti Region. Your flight will illustrate just how much pristine wilderness is found in northern Botswana. On landing into Selinda you will transfer by road and boat to Selinda Camp, where your time will be spent exploring the beautiful and varied landscapes of the reserve in search of Africa’s big game. A priority at Selinda will be seeking out the key predators, on day and night game drives, however walking safaris and relaxing boat cruises on the Selinda Spillway are also possible. Selinda Camp is very exclusive, with just three large tented guest suites, and the service is excellent.

Day 4-6: Duba Plains Camp – 4 nights
After your morning activity you will connect with a private helicopter scenic flight west along the Selinda Spillway, looking for elephant and buffalo herds as you go and flying over numerous pods of hippo in the channel. As you reach the northern Okavango Delta you will turn south and land in the incredibly remote Duba Concession – a series of large islands surrounded by the endless reedbeds and swamps of the northern Okavango. Your safari at Duba Plains will be about as exclusive as it gets, with no other lodges in the immediate concession area, and time will be spent exploring by vehicle on day and night game drives. Boat cruises and fishing are also possible when water levels allow. Duba Plains, like Selinda Camp, offers exceptional hospitality and high levels of luxury in an intimate and wild setting.

Day 7: End of Arrangements
After your final morning activity, you will connect with a shared light aircraft flight to Maun.

VARIATIONS AND EXTENSIONS
It is easy to add further luxury safari camps to this itinerary, perhaps from within the Okavango or Kalahari regions. It is also very easy to include a visit to Victoria Falls or Cape Town before or after the safari. All our itineraries are tailor-made so please do not hesitate to ask us about any possible variations or extensions.

FLIGHTS AND ACCESS
This itinerary starts and ends in Maun, which can be accessed on daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. International flights are not included in the price guide.
