Having specialised in travel to Africa since 1983, we are extremely proud and fortunate to have built up a wonderful customer base of repeat travellers, who also recommend our services to their friends, family and colleagues, or even fellow travellers they meet on safari. Our aim is for every holiday we arrange to be perfect for the people who undertake them. Listed below are some of the comments we have received from our customers. Please also visit the AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators) feedback site to see reviews on our services and our clients’ experiences.

As this was my first ever safari, I didn’t really know what to expect and at the ripe old age of 76! I do assure you I wasn’t in any way disappointed. Everything from start to finish was just so well organized and everything went to plan. Tanyth and Sean were the most perfect hosts and the people who worked there were just lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The amount of animals we saw was just amazing. Thank you so much for a most wonderful experience and some very happy memories.

I would recommend the experience we had was the best I have ever known in many years of travelling. The safari experience was superb – the guides, camp, food and of course the animals. Our hosts were very helpful and so hospitable. I would love to return again – a very impressive camp. Thank you Bill for all the work your did to make this an unforgettable holiday.

I have just experienced the most amazing holiday. The Kenyan people we dealt with are amongst the friendliest and most hospitable ever dealt with. The safari was brilliant and the folks there a joy to spend time with. Their knowledge of the wildlife was quite incredible and they were always so willing to pass that on to us. I shall never forget my Kenya experience and thank you to all at Safari Consultants for all your help and expertise in putting the itinerary together. A trip to remember!

Dear Bill, may I congratulate you and all your staff who helped in any way in making our holiday to Africa so very special. Everything was amazing. The safari was out of this world, the animals were incredible, so many and so varied, we saw a porcupine and a serval which were firsts for me. The camp was beautiful, far beyond our wildest dreams. The hosts and all their staff were amazing and so friendly. I can’t fault anything, yet again Safari Consultants have come out tops. Many thanks again for everything you have done for us.

Hi Rob, I thought I would let you know that we had a fantastic time, the scenery was far more stunning than I had expected. The people were all really friendly. Starfish Lodge is very well run and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and there are so many nice beaches around. At Lesiure Isle Lodge, the breakfast was delicious and service excellent. We can’t say sufficiently, about how well we were looked after, it was a fantastic stay. The lodge has kayaks and bikes for guests to use, as well as towels for the pool and others for the beach. Cara was even provided with a big bag of beach toys, buckets spades etc that saved us from having to buy any. Leisure Isle Lodge is a beautiful lodge. The lagoon is perfect for paddling or young children swimming. There is lovely sand and the view from the room over the lagoon is lovely. I can very highly recommend both Starfish and Leisure Isle Lodge and we would not hesitate in visiting either of them again and in fact we have already started talking about when we might go back…..!

Dear Rob, overall the experience was amazing. The conditions for travelling around were brilliant. Roads v good. And country very safe, people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The tourism infrastructure is good. Matobo Hills was fabulous and well worth a visit. And the caves with ancient paintings were wonderful. Hwange, Davison’s Camp – faultless. We were met by a wonderful guide and had the most fabulous picnic lunch on the way down to Davisons. The catering was outstanding – every single touch from sherry on arrival, to fabulous afternoon tea, wonderful brunch, brilliant early morning breakfast by the camp fire and excellent dinners and sundowners. We saw loads of animals including the cheetah. It was really wonderful and incredibly beautiful. I can thoroughly recommend Zim. A wonderful country and people with good infrastructure and has the advantage of not being overrun by tourists.

Glen Avon was superbly situated, the hosts and staff were very welcoming, it was a good location, food was superb. Auberge Clermont in Franschhoek was very pretty. Lavender Manor in Hermanus was a good location and the breakfast was very good, but they were everywhere. Dwyka was amazing, such an experience, loved it. Many thanks.
