Tsavo under pressure from elephant poaching

The aerial count which finished in Kenya’s Tsavo National Park last week has added further debate┬áto the disappointing news on poaching across the continent. Three years ago, the last count recorded 12573 elephants. The latest count, as of last week, was down to 11072, a drop of over 1500 animals. Further evidence of this blight on the African landscape.
