Tsavo under pressure from elephant poaching
The aerial count which finished in Kenya’s Tsavo National Park last week has added further debate to the disappointing news on poaching across the continent. Three years ago, the last count recorded 12573 elephants. The latest count, as of last week, was down to 11072, a drop of over 1500 animals. Further evidence of this blight on the African landscape.
