We saw far more wildlife in natural situations than we expected. In fact one of the experienced trackers at Lebala said we saw things between lions and cheetah that he had never seen in all his experiences! I took about 2400 pictures and have hundreds that are fantastic. Most importantly, the logistics, the itinerary, the level of service at the camps were all great…your planning was excellent! Having specialised in travel to Africa since 1983, we are extremely proud to have built up a wonderful customer base of repeat travellers who recommend our services to their friends and colleagues. Whether our customers travel just once to Africa as a special celebration holiday, or go back multiple times a year, our aim is for every holiday to be perfect, every time. Listed below are just some of the comments we have received from our customers visiting Zambia in the past year.

Hi Rob, it is good to hear from you. It helps to remind me of the great trip that we had. Each of the camps was terrific in its’ own right. My favorite as you could probably guess was Old Mondoro. Everything about it was phenomenal and was topped off with our seeing a Pangolin the last night that we were there. Bilimungwe was such fun and Alex felt more like a friend than a host. I probably would not return to Kafue. Though the camp was okay it wasn’t up to the same standard as the first two. However, I loved the hot air balloon ride so that made it all worthwhile. Overall, it was a terrific trip and your planning and logistical arrangements were seamless. I have already spoken to others about you and Safari Consultants and will continue to recommend you in the future. Thank you again for planning this wonderful adventure.

Dear Rob, we did have a great time. All the camps were wonderful, especially Old Mondoro. The setting was just magical. There was much to do, with activities on the river added to the usual game drives. The food and service were outstanding. The other two camps were very nice as well, especially the first in South Luangwa. Beautiful camp, lovely host. The third camp was my least favourite, but still very nice. As you know, it is out in the middle of the plain. A totally different experience. The balloon ride there was much fun. Thank you for all your help. You made it very easy.

Hello Frances, thank you so much for putting together the itinerary for our fabulous trip to Zambia and South Africa. It was all marvelous. Standout highlights were Waterberry, Kambaku and Grootbos but it was all great. It’s hard when you’ve already had one wonderful safari holiday to even match or beat that first experience but Kambaku River Sands was amazing and, yes, I did get to see my leopard, up a tree with her impala dinner while a lone hyena circled beneath. We saw the big five but also a mature rock python, hyena pups, one only a few days old, a giraffe suckling and the elephants drinking from the swimming pool.  Only the Zimbabwean elephants we saw from the sunset cruise on the banks of the Zambezi could match that. We were lucky with the weather in Cape Town and spent the day at the Kirstenbosch Gardens, Camps Bay and the Waterfront. Grootbos was absolutely fantastic and Lexie enjoyed 3 rides on her own with one of the guides. Many thanks for all your recommendations and help. We hope to plan another trip sometime.

Hi Rob, the trip was great. Old Mondoro was a first class outfit. The guides were great. Marshall was really interesting and knew his stuff. James was excellent as well and worked hard for us. Samora was an eagle-eyed spotter. We saw lots. The camp was perfect – very open indeed. Might spook some but we loved it. Just a case of sitting very still and enjoying the relaxed ellies, warthog, monkeys and impala. One afternoon five elephants came to the inlet – amazing! Camp team was great and food perfect. Michelle and Reon looked after us very well indeed. We were sad to leave and would return in a shot. Tafika was a bit more subdued. The weather was weird – very windy and overcast. It seemed to put everything down so from time to time the South Luangwa National Park seemed empty. However we really enjoyed the walking and our two nights on the trail. Chikoko Tree Camp was fab. We really enjoyed Crocodile Camp as well. Patson and James were great chefs and we ate like kings! We really enjoyed visiting both places. We will be back for more.

Hi Rob, just writing to say thank you for once again organising a fantastic African adventure for our family. At Kakuli Bush camp we were met by the very happy and friendly manager and staff. The camp was great. We loved the remoteness, the family tent/chalet, the peacefulness, the walking and the interaction with staff. The fun really began on our first night drive and didn’t stop for our entire stay – leopard vs baboon, the noise of the baboons was deafening and watching them chase the leopard was incredible. The leopard won eventually. We saw two different packs of wild dog (one lot happily munching away on their kill), leopards galore, lions, a huge buffalo herd, giraffe, zebra, hyena, elephant and the list goes on. We all absolutely loved this camp, the staff, the food and especially Julius and Kamisa who were not only great guides but wonderful company. Although sad to leave Kakuli we were looking forward to different adventures at Chongwe River Camp in the Lower Zambezi NP. You were right about the flight in – the sight of the massive Zambezi River was breathtaking. The Albida suite was roomy, private and had a great outlook onto the Zambezi River. The sunset cruise was lovely and started with a sighting of several young male lions lying in the sun on the high river bank. The canoe trip was another outstanding highlight – so peaceful despite the large crocs on the banks and hippos in the water. We enjoyed our stay here very much but found it a bit more “business like” than the more relaxed Kakuli. Thanks again for all your help and advice. I don’t think I’m done with Africa yet so look forward to organising another great trip in the future.

Dear Michele, I and Tero want to thank you and the whole team for an unforgettable holiday in South Luangwa. It met all our expectations, and more. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. You knew exactly what we would like. The accommodation was superb. We enjoyed the drives very much, and had so many fantastic sightings. Walking is so great! You see, hear and smell so many different things (as you well know). The guides were excellent, and it is absolutely a good arrangement to have the same ranger the whole time. As for the wildlife, I think we saw everything that can be expected. I can imagine the number of animals you see is greater later in the season, but we don´t feel like we missing anything. The exciting scenes easily make up for the number of animals. We saw several leopards, more than ever before. Saw dogs several times as well, both from a car and on foot (also killing a bushbuck in the galley right in front of our chalet at Mwamba; the scene we could see in the full moon light). A porcupine, a serval, and seven out of nine mongooses they have in SL. First goliath heron and giant kingfisher, too. Thank you again. We will certainly contact you, when it is time for the next trip to Africa.

Dear Michele, just to let you know that "you've done it again" and raised the bar; making it even more difficult to find somewhere next time that will come near to providing the same excellent standards and overall enjoyment. The VIP annex at the Victoria Falls was an unquestionable success. The Tongabezi Lodge was an absolute winner on all accounts: service, accommodation, location, food facilities etc. with the Dog House being a perfect choice of rooms. Their attention to detail in respect of every aspect was excellent. Many thanks

Rob, as I suspected, the "game" portion of the trip was anti-climatic after seeing the great migration, but we still saw lots of game. Makanyi was great, the staff couldn't have been nicer, the amenities and service, great. Great choice for the area. Cape Grace was, likewise, a great choice. Certainly one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in. Again, the staff were gracious and helpful. Leeu House was also a good choice though I am not sold on spending two nights in the wine country. Great food but I'm getting to the point, I guess, that we have seen so many "vineyards", that the novelty has worn off. River Club was just okay--great location, lovely views, a bit tired. Overall, it really was a great trip, Africa really is a special place. Thanks for your help.

Frances, I just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for all your help with our recent safari vacation. We had a spectacular time and thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip! Kenya was just amazing and my daughters fell in love with the country. The trip to Devil's Pool was out of this world. Everything was just perfect and we already want to go back. Thanks so much.

Rob and Bill, we’ve made it home from our wonderful trip. Thanks to you for the great organisation. On the whole, the South Luangwa portion was great and the camps were top notch. We found some spectacular landscapes, with long open views and green grass. Good people and great guides. Kafue was even better than expected. Phil and Tyrone have a unique opportunity to develop their area. They’re young, have the energy, have the proper ethos of engagement with their wildlife, a sense of style and know their stuff. These guys deserve the support you can give them. Many thanks again and I look forward to staying in touch.

Rob, I know we have spoken on the phone since we returned from Africa but it would be remiss of me not to write and thank you. I asked when we were planning this trip that I wanted an adventure and to create memories for my family and in particular my children. You did this and beyond, we have all loved it and the brief has been fulfilled and more. All 3 camps you chose were superb in their own individual ways and gave us such pleasure. The activities you recommended were brilliant with particular mention for Devils pool and the sleep out platform. We loved all the camps but particular mention for Kanana and in particular our guide Robbie who went above and beyond for our children and not only gave them a fabulous safari but nothing was too much trouble to make sure they had a great time. Rob thank you very much, you understood my brief 100%. Please keep in touch and I will start saving our pennies for next time.

October/November 2017

Hi Michele, we had an absolutely amazing time and could have stayed forever! All of the camps were fantastic, we met some lovely people and had incredible experiences. We witnessed the Kaingo/Mwamba pride of lions kill an impala. The next night we arrived at a kill just after it had happened, a leopard had taken a young puku and the mother was still standing there calling. The leopard took it up a tree and tucked in. We thoroughly enjoyed the night spent at the elephant hide although it was so hot that night. It was one of those experiences that we will never forget, laying there listening to all of the night sounds wondering how far away they are! We also witnessed 2 leopards fighting over a kill up a tree, the leopard that had made the kill was left dangling from a branch by 1 paw which again I caught on film. We sat just by the tree drinking our sundowners in the jeep watching these 2 leopards snarling and hissing at each other. Fantastic!! The Luangwa bush camping was a great experience and we were the only guests so it was very enjoyable. We saw our 1st wild dogs here, 2 separate packs on 2 separate days. Old Mondoro was stunning. Our room faced the lagoon which was filled with water hyacinths and just sitting watching so many animals enjoying the water was brilliant. We counted 29 elephants on 1 day but also had buffalo, baboon, waterbuck, impala and loads of birds. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, from being woken by the drums, sitting in the Last Waterhole Hide, so many animal sightings, eating toast & porridge cooked over the fire, the night sounds, the sunrise and sunset, walking, sundowners, the list goes on! Thanks you so much for arranging everything so perfectly again, it was all perfect! We have so many photos but will email some when we have picked out the best.

Dear Rob, it was a wonderful trip and we were so lucky with game – five leopards on one night drive seems to have been an Amanzi record! I also saw my second Pel’s Fishing owl after 16 years waiting. Amanzi Camp was Excellent. Wonderful location, spacious and comfortable accommodation, very good food and service throughout the camp. Patrick our guide was superb. He had an uncanny knack of always knowing exactly where the leopard would be. Bilimungwe – Excellent. Much more rustic, spacious and comfortable accommodation with the added benefit of an outdoor shower. Alex the camp manager was terrific. Our guide Charles was extremely good and it was only on the last night that I realised he had been our guide for the few days we spent in the Luangwa on an Art Safari trip in 2008. Kaingo Camp was excellent in so many ways, with amazing food a great ambiance and the hides. The landscape was extraordinary and the leadwood forest utterly beautiful. There was plentiful game and it was a special privilege to walk with Derek Shenton. Thanks again for organising such a fantastic trip to Zambia, which I enjoyed so very much. Every day was amazing with excellent guides and unbelievable game.

Hi Frances, just wanted to say a massive thank you to you for our amazing holiday. We loved every moment of our holiday. Each base was so diversely different so there was no time to be bored with a place, but new discoveries were always there to be had. The safari was out of this world. We saw the ‘big five’ and so much more. Waterberry Lodge was also a highlight for me. It was so serene and relaxing after our early mornings on safari.

Hi Rob, we had an amazing time. We thought this may be our last trip to Zambia for a while as we thought we may be getting bored with it BUT within 48 hours of being in Kafue, Steve was planning our next trip! We loved Musekese – what a great place. The camp location was great overlooking the lagoon. We saw lots of elephants, Lions walked past camp one morning and it was great seeing bush pigs (in the distance) for the first time. Phil was an excellent guide, we loved his passion for conservation and his ideas for the future of this area. We had an amazing time at Mwaleshi, We tracked lions and came upon them by surprise. We also saw a black mamba snake in a tree, were lucky to see wild dogs by the river and a large pack of hyenas. Nkwali was a nice camp - lots of elephant and giraffe around plus 2 sightings of leopard. We had a new experience of crossing the river on a pontoon which was interesting, especially when a hippo jumped out from underneath the pontoon as we were crossing and startled the guys pulling on the levers. It was great to see Kanga again. We loved the fly camping at Mupamadzi - the tents were excellent, better than we expected. The walking was excellent too and the guides fantastic. We saw lots of game - we were charged by buffalo quite a few times! We found 3 lioness/cubs, saw lots of elephants, a big herd of Roan and were even charged by a warthog which was quite funny. Thanks!

Mary, we will send you more details in a few days, but want you to know right away that everything was perfect. The camps were fun and interesting, especially Kuyenda! The staff were great. But our guide . . . we thought Frank at SGS Africa was wonderful . . . but young Suzyo tops him, hands down. It was an incredible week. Thank you so much. (We keep saying after each trip that this will be the last. But you never know?)

Hi Michele, Sorry we are a bit slow in getting back to you since getting home from Africa! Thank you so much for your help in organising our trip we had an absolutely fantastic time! We loved everywhere that you organised for us and were treated so well by all the staff at all the different camps. Everything we saw we thought was amazing! A few of our highlights were seeing a herd of 100 elephant up close, watching two cheetahs hunt a poor little baby Thompson gazelle, spotting the elusive leopards, seeing two brand new baby lion cubs to the Mara pride on a night drive, the smallest river crossing of 4 wildebeest and staying at Elsa's which was by far our favourite lodge! Thank you again with all of your help organising the most amazing honeymoon that we could have hoped for!

July 2017

Dear Rob, thank you for organising an absolutely fantastic holiday for us to Zambia. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Both the houses lived up to and surpassed expectations. Sometimes pictures on websites can be a little misleading but this was not the case. The houses were gorgeous, clean, comfortable and in superb surroundings.  Wildlife did literally walk by and I can say that I have never been anywhere where I have been lulled to sleep by the sound of hippos munching on grass outside my bedroom “window”!  The food at both houses was always first rate. Really delicious, creative, fresh - I don’t know how they do it especially when you consider their location. The staff in both locations were always helpful, friendly and attentive. At Chongwe River House, Alan and Nicci were superb hosts - lovely to chat to but discreet to leave us to family time too. A really great start to the holiday. Alan was a superb guide - we concentrated mainly on birds with him and he took on the challenge to get us to 100 birds whilst we were there with a great sense of fun. The bush camping experience was truly amazing and definitely the highlight. We all learnt so much and special thanks has to go to our guide, Kanga, who was absolutely first rate. He was always happy to answer questions, was really in touch with all that was going on around us and was happy to do extras. He accompanied us to Luangwa house and Jen and John enjoyed his company and expertise too. I think they said he was the best guide they’d had. So thank you and everyone involved for making this trip so very, very memorable.

July 2017

Hi Frances. The main reason we decided on Safari Consultants was the attention to detail given in your responses to our quite thorough brief and the confidence given by the local knowledge of all of the options we were offered. The choice of Mashatu Tented Camp was perfect for us to experience the feeling of being in the bush without actually camping out. An amazing experience hearing the wildlife close by through the night. Watching the elephants at the waterhole whilst having dinner was magical. The setting and the people at Mashatu made for an authentic intimate Botswana experience. Kambaku again was perfect for what we were looking for. The thatched villas were luxurious and very well spread out over the grounds. A real sense of space. Of course Kambaku is a different experience to Mashatu, it is South Africa and not Botswana. The game drives were excellent. Some of the sundowner stops at Kambaku were stunning. The night skies at dusk were breath taking. In fact with the help of lions visiting over dinner, we saw the big five in the first afternoon and evening. What can we say about Victoria Falls. There is a very good reason it is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. To experience the power and beauty was very moving. Clive was brilliant and made this a memorable experience. The Zambezi sunset cruise was a marvellous end to what was a trip of a lifetime. The boat was excellent and staff brilliant and the sunset, unforgettable. With the benefit of hindsight would we have changed anything?.....No, and I think that says it all. So a very big thank you to you Frances and everybody at Safari Consultants and your African partners. It is quite remarkable that such a complex schedule went without a hitch. A compliment to all involved.

June 2017

Rob, happy to report we are safely returned from a great trip. Many thanks for organising this safari at such short notice. It all worked excellently: the charter flight down to the Lower Zambezi linked up effortlessly with our international flight; we were in Chiawa in time for an evening drive. Chiawa was outstanding, amongst the best (if not the best) lodge we have stayed in. Old Mondoro was as we remembered it from eighteen months ago; quiet and rustic and very close to nature but with all the creature comforts. At both camps the game viewing exceeded expectation; four excellent leopard sightings at Chiawa and about six more at Mondoro, enough lions at both lodges and wild dog at Chiawa. Yes, the game viewing was more challenging at this time of year but it was great to see the bush so beautiful and green, a completely different perspective to normal. We both thoroughly enjoyed this trip and are already plotting our return to Zambia.

Hi Michele, I have been meaning to write to you since we got home, to THANK YOU for an absolutely wonderful experience. It was quite a complicated itinerary, but the connections and contacts with guides and local representatives was seamless. The tented camps were fantastic, particularly the Kicheche camps due to their location. We were blown away by the level of service, attention to detail and the high quality of the meals provided by the lovely staff at all camps. Islands of Siankaba was also a fantastic change of pace and end to our trip. Our guides were wonderful -  Jackson in Tanzania, Bernard in Rwanda, Peter at Ol Pejeta and George at Mara North. Their easy going personalities and knowledge of their country’s geography, history and wildlife made the trip so much more rewarding than we expected. The access they provided to the wildlife was amazing. Thanks again to you, Josie, Bill, Rob and the team. We had a wonderful trip and would highly recommend Safari Consultants!

Dear Rob, we had an amazing trip and we fell in love with Zambia. I think the highlights were Old Mondoro Camp – every day we had elephant overload – it was amazing. The varied activities were also a plus. We loved Kaingo camp – the camp managers were really great and the food was superb! Lastly, we loved ending at Tongabezi. Thanks for all of your help on planning this and you did a fabulous job on recommending the camps.

Hi Rob, Chobe Princess - Fantastic start. Total unwind from first few minutes on board. Mwamba - Excellent camp. First rate guide. Marvellous wildlife. Tafika - Bush walking was great. Guides very knowledgeable. Old Mondoro - Great Camp. Water activities a real plus, and good to wash out all that dust at the end. Thanks again. A wonderful trip and just the right mix of experiences.

September 2016

Hi Rob, Tafika - it really is a lovely camp with nice friendly people and atmosphere, the food was excellent as well. A couple of nice Leopard sightings, on daytime in a tree and one night time under spotlight. Kaingo - we were lucky to be assigned Patrick (again) as a guide - he is very good, knows the area and the animals like the back of his hand and being interested in photography himself, was good at placement of the vehicle on sightings. Game viewing was excellent, Leopards galore and good sightings of everything else. Remote Africa Air's direct transfer down to Lower Zambezi was fantastic, we met quite a few people who had spent a whole day travelling between the two areas and they were gutted they couldn't/didn't do what we did, and when you look at it we definitely did it right compared to theirs, so thanks for hat - worked out really well. Amanzi - provided the perfect wind down at the end of the holiday for us. Lovely appointed camp, really nice and very quiet and relaxed, again lovely food and we were well looked after. All in all another great trip. We saw lots of great wildlife, met some lovely people, were looked after really well wherever we went.
Kevin and Lynne from Kent returned to Zambia

August/September 2016

Dear Michele, everything ran very smoothly, all flights, meet and greets, and camps were ready. We enjoyed our 50th and 18th birthday and 25th wedding anniversary at all camps - we had bubbly and cake! The trip was well planned with a chance to relax more and go at a slower pace at our last camp. This was even better as we were the only ones in camp for 3 nights! It was great to be able to go on the river to have a bit more variety. We had a great time and saw good game - including a close encounter with a hippo! and 9 week old lion cubs. Thank You.

Hi Michele, we're back in Hong Kong now and trying to get over jetlag. The trip was amazing, thank you so much for everything. The overall organisation, transfers, quality of camps, etc. were flawless. We're really lucky as we get to travel frequently, but this was our first trip to Africa and it didn't disappoint. It was also great to meet the two Safari Consultants ladies at Kanana. We will definitely use Safari Consultants again and I'm already working on Tim for the next trip!

Dear Michele, our trip to South Luangwa National Park was hugely enjoyable and eventful; the season is considered to be two months ahead of what it should be with low waters levels in the rivers and some concern for later in the year. There was abundant wildlife with excellent sightings - in particular a leopard taking a live impala up a tree chased by 3 hyena, at least 182 crocodiles (I stopped counting) feeding on a dead hippo and (the highlight of the trip for me!) 32 ellies crossing the river. Many thanks for recommending Kaingo; it's everything a safari camp should be.

We had an amazing time and fell in love with Zambia! Mwamba was a very good camp in a great location. The hides were a great bonus. The sleep out was fantastic and although we didn't see any game, it was wonderful being out in the open (and cooler) air under the stars, watching the moon go down! Robin Pope bush camping was such a wonderful experience. The guide Kanga was excellent, the best during the trip. Tafika was a nice spacious camp, good game viewing with lions, leopard and her cub. At Chikoko we saw a rare sighting of Pels fishing owl and had a herd of wildebeest approach us whilst we were sat having a bush tea. Crocodile Camp was a great location with the watering hole in front of camp and our room, which made us feel like we had our own hide. Old Mondoro was a blessing after the heat and dryness of the valley - the accommodation was beautiful and felt like a lovely treat after being in the bush! The boat trips were amazing and on our last night we saw the first baby Impala of the season.

The trip surpassed all my expectations and has provided me with some magical memories. The camps were exceptional and I can honestly say I have never been so well cared for. Special recommendations must go to Sonia and her team at Laikipia. Both guides: Onesmus and Mika, both of whom were extraordinary and without exception, all the staff at Siankaba. A huge thank you to all of them. This was a truly wonderful, one might almost say life changing trip and one that I shall never forget. Overall, I must send a personal note of thanks to Michele who orchestrated the whole affair with care and efficiency. I shall rave about Safari Consultants to my friends until I am in danger of boring them silly! With grateful thanks.

Hello Rob, the logistics all worked well and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip: without doubt the best so far. Kaingo was excellent and we would be happy to return. Patrick, our guide, was excellent; knowledgeable about wildlife and photography, a very able driver, excellent language skills – almost the perfect guide. The driving area was a beautiful mix of open plains, woodland and ravines. The beautiful Ebony grove was something special. Lions and Leopard abounded, with Leopards particularly well habituated and photogenic. Night drives were also productive, both for the different animals and reptiles seen but most particularly for the quality of the individual sightings. An excellent camp, well managed by Liz and Garth, nothing was too much trouble, a great place to stay. Old Mondoro Camp was Really, really outstanding. Among the highlights of our game drives were fourteen leopard sightings of nine different leopards in a twenty-four hour period. This included a family of mother, daughter and son who had killed a family of bush pigs (never before seen by us, and only seen a couple of times a year by the guides, what a pity to lose a whole family of such a rare animal!), only for them to lose their supper to a trio of intruder male lions. Night drives were particularly rewarding not only for the variety of wildlife but for their willingness to hold their ground and be photographed, notably civets, porcupines (18), genets, honey badgers as well as leopards and a number of nocturnal birds. I'm not sure how many it was, but we seemed to regularly be meeting Safari Consultants clients. Without you (and your colleagues) South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi would be a much quieter place!

Everything went well with the trip. Each of the camp managers saw our itinerary and all commented on how well organised it was and how it cut travelling time to a minimum. Safari Consultants clearly has a reputation as a good agent with which to work and has a reputation for having satisfied clients. All the lodges you recommended were outstanding.

Hello Bill, this trip to Zambia surpassed our highest hopes, special sightings just kept coming and by the end exceeded anything we had a right to expect. Across all camps we had sightings of eight Leopards, at least as many of Lions, some great Elephant, Hippos and more Giraffe than we have seen anywhere the list just goes on. We also had a really good range of bird viewing, lots of raptors, waders, Bee-eaters, Nightjar again the list just goes on. All the camps were first class with great hospitality, good accommodation and food. The decision to opt for private guiding was more than justified; James Chabuka is an excellent guide and very good company. In Lower Zambezi the tempo of sightings did not slow down. At Old Mondoro we had a brief sighting of Bush Pig, and a daytime sighting of two Porcupine, Lion close to camp and of course many Elephant in camp; again lots of good bird watching and a very good morning walk. Chiawa proved that the best is saved till last. A morning river cruise produced the best bird watching we have had, particularly notable was a Goliath Heron struggling with a large Bream which it eventually managed to swallow, much to our amazement. Once again our thanks for your faultless organisation.

Hi Michele, many thanks for organizing us another great trip!, we have always wanted to see the Delta and it was great to see…we enjoyed the diversity of the trip and we saw and did a lot in the 2 weeks. We loved the team at Savute and the location of Kanana….and it was great to end at Waterberry Lodge where we saw the falls from both sides…We look forward to our next trip!

Good Evening Michele, we would like to thank you for organising such a superb holiday which we are still in complete awe of. So many lasting memories have been created and we have never felt so at peace & relaxed on a holiday before. The whole itinerary ran faultlessly for which we thank you! The camps were superb with excellent guiding, fantastic food & a very high level of service & accommodation. For us you certainly achieved the 'holiday away from humans' and we can't really believe we were there now that we are back to our pressured lives. Our sincerest thanks go out to you Michele along with all of the camp staff who made every moment spectacular. We are of course thinking of what comes next year.....Thank you once again Michele for your hard work & making this a holiday of a lifetime for us!

Hello Mary, overall...a great, most enjoyable & successful trip. Arrangements all immaculate with excellent rooms/ guides allocated. Thank you! Highlights...29 leopards in about 22 sightings including family with kill, 2 very close encounters which had adrenalin going and 1 who ran hard at us and we thought he may jump in! Some excellent photos and some of the most memorable encounters with leopards, lions and elephants we have experienced in 20 years+ of safaris. Kuyenda - Excellent! Best camp, best guide/armed ranger (Kelvin & Isaiah), best food and outstanding hosting from Babette & Phil. Attention to detail and simple bush style memorable. Old Mondoro – Great camp and friendly hosts Dave & Tess. Chiawa - Some great spots and encounters. Ruckomechi - Lovely room & setting. Kango - Really good camp, friendly welcome and staff. Good guide Bono who got us so close to pack of 28 Wild Dog under trees. Victoria Falls Hotel - Wonderful and loved our stay! Very attentive staff with some real stars. Very pleased with all your arrangements!

Dear Rob, thank you so much for organising what was a truly fantastic holiday. We have come back with so many great memories. As you told us at the outset, Zambia is a special place, the people are so friendly and the game viewing, particularly at South Luangwa, was amazing. We all had a wonderful break, made all the better by the lack of phone signal and wifi. All the lodges were great and the staff were almost without exception lovely and welcoming. We thought that Mwamba and Old Mondoro were really, really special places to stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed Kaingo and thought that Siankaba was a great spot from which to visit the Falls. The local people and the village there were so welcoming. Things that stood out a little more than all the other great things - The guiding at Kaingo and Mwamba - Sylvester was our guide and he was brilliant.  It was also really good to have the same guide through both camps, Mwamba - just being out in the bush miles from anywhere; a true wilderness, Old Mondoro - the setting on the river is really special, Canoeing The Discovery Channel at Old Mondoro and the boat ride down from Chiawa to Old Mondoro. Overall this was a really fantastic break.  You have 5 happy customers and we will undoubtedly return to Africa in the future with you.

Dear Rob, I just wanted to say a massive thanks for delivering a great holiday - you fulfilled my brief perfectly, and exceeded all our expectations. All arrangements, transfers and accommodation were like clockwork, no concerns at all. We liked that Elephant Plains and Muchenje arranged for us to have the same guides throughout our stay, as this greatly enhances the relationships and communication. Elephant Plains was a great location, great food & great staff. Morné Fouche our guide was very professional - we loved the drives and game walks with him. Over 3 days we saw 7 different leopard, 4 different rhino and a big herd of buffalo, 800-1000 strong which Morné managed to park just ahead of, then they flowed all around the vehicle for 20-30 mins as they passed, unforgettable. Muchenje - great atmosphere, felt like home from home, fantastic location on the escarpment overlooking the floodplain. We enjoyed the full day out with boat trip, picnic lunch then a game drive back along the Chobe waterfront, with hundreds of elephant, buffalo, zebra & sable. We got a fantastic front row view of a lion hunt by a pride of 10 lions. Waterberry Lodge was a great end to the holiday - fantastic location and good food. We enjoyed the sunset cruise, fishing, hippos on the lawn and bird watching. So relaxing to just chill on the banks of the Zambezi. The visit to the Falls was great. We have great photos and great memories - thank you. We now have lots of ideas for return trips, and will not hesitate to contact you.

Hi Michele, thank you for your letter. We did indeed have a wonderful holiday which more than lived up to our expectations, thank you. We saw everything we could have wished to, several times over. On our transfer drive into Amboseli we saw lions manoeuvring and feeding on a zebra; also there we saw a cheetah and her cubs eating a freshly killed gazelle. On a night drive in Laikipia we sat whilst 14 lions squabbled over a warthog carcass in the light of our headlights. In the Mara we saw a leopard holding fast to a young wildebeest's throat as it died, and then watched her drag it into the undergrowth. As far as individual animal sightings go, we saw an aardwolf (Mara), a zorilla (Laikipia), a wild dog (Amboseli - our guide said it had been a year since he'd seen one); a bush baby (by the light of the camp fire in the Mara). Many thanks again from all of us for organising such an amazing holiday.
