  • Dear Bill, the Nyika Plateau was really something else at an elevation of 7,500 – 8,000 feet up. It seemed just like many areas of Scotland that we have been to, bold rolling hills with deep valleys where the tree grow and the water runs. The only difference is that instead of deer we had roan, zebra, reedbuck, and bushbuck. The area is vast and the game seems sparse, but the vistas were always stunning and so there was plenty to look at. We had two leopard sightings during the day and a few nice sighting at night, including probably the best sighting ever of a honey badger and also a serval cat. Both leopards were in broad daylight. The satt at the lodge were first class, friendly and competent! Thank you for all your help.
